Green Motion Turkey Rental Terms for travel between 01-Jan-2019 and 31-Dec-2050

Pricing is quoted on a ‘per day’ basis (24-hour period)

Driver Age Requirements
Young drivers surcharge: 75 TRY/day
Senior driver surcharge: N/A
Minimum/Maximum age: 21 to 85 years
Young drivers surcharge is applicable for drivers aged 21-24 years old for all vehicle categories,
excluding any premium/luxury categories on offer.
For premium/luxury categories the minimum age is 24 and the young driver surcharge applies for
drivers aged 24-27.

Driver License and Identification Requirements
The renter/driver must be in possession of the following required documents:
- A valid Driving Licence with photocard
- A valid Credit card
- International customers must provide their passport showing an entrance stamp to Turkey
- Turkish citizens are required to provide both their driver’s license and national ID card.
For Compact and Economy vehicle groups, the driver’s licence must be held for a minimum of 1 year
and valid for at least 30 days after check-in
For Compact, Standard, Intermediate, and SUV vehicle groups, the driver’s licence must be held for a
minimum of 3 years and valid for at least 30 days after check-in. License holders are required to
present a photo card
Drivers looking to hire Premium/Luxury categories, are required to have held a driver’s license for a
minimum of 5 years and it must be valid for at least 30 days after check- in. License holders are
required to present a photo card
Driving licences should be in English or Latin letters.
International Driving licences are required when a driving license is not in English or Latin letters.

Turkish citizens will be subject to a credit rating check, ranging from 801 to 1301 dependant on the
vehicle group selected, Turkish customers will need to pass this in order to qualify for the hire.
Customers who live in countries that do not participate in the International Driving license program
are allowed to provide an officially translated version, along with the drivers’ license.
All drivers must produce a valid, original copy of their driving license including photo ID.
In the event that a customer arrives at the rental desk without the necessary documentation as
stated above, the booking will be cancelled. In these cases, there will be no refund.

Method of Payment
Accepted Payment Method: Credit card
Debit cards are not allowed for deposits or payment at the desk, only credit card payments are
Accepted for deposit and payment: MasterCard Credit and Visa Credit
Not accepted for deposit and payment: American Express, Pre-paid credit cards, Diners, Laser,
Maestro, debit, or Switch cards.
A security deposit will be held against your card(s) for the duration of the hire and the following
requirements apply:
- The credit card(s) must be in the name of the main driver
- The credit card must have sufficient funds to cover the security deposit
- For Premium and Luxury vehicle groups, two credit cards under the main drivers name is
required, if this is not provided, the location reserves the right to refuse the rental
In the event that the driver fails to present a valid credit card or supplies a credit card with lack of
sufficient funds available, the rental agent may refuse to release the vehicle. In these instances, no
funds paid will be reimbursed.

Zero Excess Conditions and Requirements
In the event of an accident or any damage to the vehicle, customers are required to obtain a police
report and can also create a contractual report with the other vehicle's driver, prior to returning the
vehicle to Green Motion Turkey. Failure to provide the required police report and documentation
may result in the zero excess cover being invalidated.
The following valid documents will be required:
- Police Report
- Copy or image of the other vehicle's insurance papers
- Copy or image of the other driver's licence
- Photographs of the accident, showing the vehicles involved
Green Motion will offer assistance with the details and process for this upon arrival and will provide
documentation and guidance on how to proceed in the event of damage to the vehicle.

Additional Drivers
Additional drivers are allowed at an additional cost per day of 20.00 TRY

Insurance Coverage Details/ Deposit Amounts
A security deposit amount is required at the time of collection. This is mandatory requirement and
applies to all reservations, regardless of any insurance packages that may have been purchased.

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) :
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is the cover limiting the customer's liability for damage to the rental
Collision Damage Waiver will be invalidated if the terms of the hire are not met or are violated.
Below table shows the excess amount applicable to the Collision Damage Wavier and the deposit
amount required.

Theft Waiver (TW): VAT Included
Theft Waiver (TW) is the cover limiting the customer's liability for theft of the rental vehicle.
Theft Waiver (TW) will be invalidated if the terms of the hire are not met or are violated.

Additional Insurance Coverage Options.
The insurances shown below are optional.

Mini Insurance
Mini Insurance provides coverage for damage caused to the tires, glass and body of the vehicle, up to
a maximum of 500 TRY, without the requirement of a police report. The damage must not be on
more than two parts of the vehicle. Customers must complete a statement upon return to the Green
Motion station. This insurance is only valid for accidents which do not involve another vehicle.

Vehicle Groups Cost Per Day
All 25 TRY

Personal Accident Insurance (PAI)
In case of personal injury or fatality, this insurance offers 300,000 TRY compensation coverage.

Third Party Liability Protection (TP) VAT Included
You may be held responsible for damage to or loss of tyres, windscreens, glass and undercarriage.
Third Party Liability is included in the rates and limited to TRY 30 000 for bodily and property

Special Equipment / Optional Extras
All optional extras can be subject to price changes without notice; additionally optional extras are
subject to availability.

Local Fees
All mandatory airport fees and local taxes are included in the price

Fuel Policy
We operate a Fair Fuel policy, we ask customers to return the car with the same level of fuel as
supplied at the time of collection.
Missing fuel will be charged per litre (daily rate) and an additional charge of 25% (Refuelling Fee).
Your vehicle will be supplied with fuel. To avoid incurring fuel charges you will need to return it
approximately same level. You may be required to leave a fuel deposit reserved on your credit card
that will be released when you return the car with same amount of fuel. Missing fuel will be charged
on your return. The price per litre charged by the rental agent may be significantly higher than the
price at the local service station.
Fuel charges are payable at the rental desk unless otherwise stated in the top section of rate details.

Mileage Policy
Unlimited to a maximum of 3000 km per rental.
Excess kilometers over 3000km per rental will be determined as excessive use and a charge of 0.20
TRL (including VAT) will apply per KM over the maximum amount.

Vehicle Group/Model
Our vehicles are classified into groups using the ACRISS guide as the standard for clarity of booking.
Reservations are confirmed for a group and not a particular model unless shown otherwise. We are
unable to guarantee a particular make/model or fuel type unless a guaranteed model group has been
The vehicle shown on any documentation is for guidance only and may be substituted with an
alternative, similar or upgraded vehicle at our discretion.

Vehicle Condition
Vehicles must be returned to the location/drop off point in the same condition as when it was picked
up/delivered. It is the responsibility of the renter to ensure that the vehicle is thoroughly checked
prior to taking custody of the vehicle.
Whilst in charge of the vehicle the client accepts responsibility for maintaining the roadworthiness of
the vehicle and agrees to take remedial action to avoid unnecessary cost/damage. This will include
maintaining oil levels, tire pressures and other common sense actions to maintain the vehicle if
before authorized. Costs will generally be covered only if it’s authorized in advance from the rental
Renter returns the vehicle in a clean condition (normal wear and tear excepted). If the vehicle is
exceptionally dirty upon return or if there is damage to the seats, seat upholstery or the carpets an
additional charge for deep cleaning will apply. This charge will be dependent upon the actual state of
the vehicle when returned.
Any damage caused to the vehicle, if returned out of hours is the responsibility of the hirer until our
staffs have checked in the vehicle.

A printed document or an e-voucher of the reservation voucher must be produced upon arrival at
the rental desk. Failure to present your voucher may result in the car rental agent charging you at the
local rates. Green Motion Turkey are not responsible for overcharges on rentals where the voucher
was not presented to the local agent on collection of the vehicle. If you do not present the required
documents, the documentation is not valid or you do not have enough funds on your credit card, the
car rental agent may also refuse to release the vehicle and no funds will be reimbursed.

Deep cleaning of the car
Green Motion operates a no smoking policy for all vehicles. If you have smoked or allowed smoking
within the vehicle charges will apply
A valeting fee will be surcharged to rectify any soiling due to cigarette (or cigar) smoke / ash in the
minimum amount of TRY 500 incl. tax

Animals in our vehicles
We request no animals are transported in our vehicle unless contained. A valeting fee may be applied
to rectify any soiling due to animal transportation. The minimum fee will be at least TRY 500 incl. tax.

Opening Hours
Please check for our applicable opening hours at your time of rental / arrival
/ departure (pick-up, return etc.)
Please always check before, location may be closed for pickups and returns on Country’s or local
public holidays

Out of Hours Collection and Drop Off
Not Allowed.


Delayed Collections/No Show Policy
In the event that a customer experiences flight delays the customer will not be charged an out of
hours surcharge within 1 hour of the intended arrival time – if a flight number is provided. If no flight
number is provided then the location may close without notice. No refunds will be given for rentals
ended early, late collections, no shows or cancellations made after the rental start date, even if
cancellation protection is taken.

Rental Extensions
Please note that it may not always be possible to extend the hire. When the rental branch agrees to
extend the hire, the rental will be charged at the prevailing rate which may be higher or lower than
the original booking rate.

Non-authorized rental extension
TRY 1000 per rental. This penalty is applied above the rental charge and the driver may be black
listed (declined for future bookings)

Early Returns/Unused Rental Days
No refunds (partial or full) will be given for rentals ended early, late collections, no shows or
cancellations made after the rental start date.

Lost Keys
Green Motion will charge if keys are lost or damaged. Please note that if a vehicle is stolen and keys
are not returned to the rental location, the hirer will be deemed negligent. Lost keys are deemed as
negligence and are not covered under the insurance excess limitation or risk reduction packages.
Drivers will be liable for all costs relating to recovery, loss of use and repair. This list is not exhaustive.

Fines, Penalties and Administration Charges
It is the responsibility of each hirer to cover the cost of any parking fines and traffic violations. When
fines or traffic violations occur and a Green Motion location is involved in administering the charge
then an administration fee of 30% will be charged to the customer.

Late Returns
For unapproved delayed returns of over 60 or more minutes, we charge a whole new rental day.
Applicable for all vehicle groups.

Grace period: 1 hour

Reservation amendments must be requested in writing, fax or email at least 24 hours prior to the
start of your rental. Please note that telephone amendments will not be accepted. An amendment
request is not assured and amendments will be treated as a new booking.

Vehicle Trackers
Some of our vehicles contain tracking devices which will be used in accordance with our data
protection policy.


All complaints should be made in writing either through our Online Contact Form found on our
Contact Us page or via email to within 30 days from the last day of your
rental. Whilst we do try to resolve all cases brought to our attention, those raised after this period
may not be considered. If at any point during the investigation process communication ceases for a
period of more than 30 days, the case will be considered closed and no further action will be taken.

The lessor process legally and/or in conformity the personal data obtained by this contract in
accordance with the provisions of law about personal data protection numbered 6698 related in
personal data, conserve them, make them explicit and/or destroy them according to the policy by
observing legal purposes. The LESSOR can share information such the vehicles, labels, models, license
plates, LESSEE, user, additional driver, credit card etc. with third parties or institutes, in conformity
with laws and contract and this act will not be consider as violation of confidentiality. The LESSEE or
the person having his signature in return/delivery form accepts in advance this authorization of the
LESSOR. Express consent/agreement to receive in conformity with the law related in personal data
protection are the integral part of the rental contract. To be inform more and in details on methods

At the point to process my data, on condition that to reserve my right of suits and claims of damages
arisen from the faults of your company, I declare, accept and engage to process within the scope
defined in the Protection of Personal Data, to share my personal data that the content, the collection
place and method are defined above and in Personal Data Protection, between METAL Oto Tic. A.S.
and its participations, because of the reasons and purposes explicated in the information on personal
data as a result of my own and free intention.

General Terms
All bookings are subject to our terms and conditions.
Green Motion Limited cannot accept liability for any charges incurred on documentation signed for
and accepted locally.
Green Motion Limited will not be held responsible for anyone driving under the influence of alcohol
or drugs causing wilful damage, off road driving or driving without due care and attention. The
customer will accept responsibility in respect of such claims. This list is not exclusive.
When comprehensive insurance is taken out it is to provide the customer with entitlement to drive
and covers the vehicle in the event of an accident. In the case where a customer is found negligent
Green Motion Limited and its locations reserve the right to pursue the customer for the recovery of
all losses incurred.

We welcome feedback from our customers on their experience with our suppliers. We may, at our discretion, provide you with reasonable assistance in resolving any dispute you may have with a supplier.

Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. Your use of this website is governed by the laws of New Zealand and the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

Booking information
To make a booking you must complete our booking form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your form, we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking by emailing you a confirmation voucher and invoice.

If you are booking via phone, please make sure you have read the terms and conditions of the vehicle you wish to rent first. Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. The onus is always on the renter to ensure they make themselves fully aware of the terms displayed on our website.

In booking on this website you acknowledge that we disclose your information to your selected Supplier in order to provide the requested rental services.

Vehicle capacity and fitness to drive
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.

Refund Policy
In the event of cancellation, any deposit amounts paid at the time of booking are non-refundable. 

If you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of placing your booking or request and we will work to resolve any issues and determine if compensation is due. In the event you have completed your rental and are unhappy with your vehicle, we are happy to assist you in seeking compensation from the operator of the vehicle.
